Accommodation

The School building, on completion will be a three storied building of architectural excellence with 35 rooms and attached practical halls , Smart classes Library and Reading room, two spacious halls for meeting and seminars , Principal’s room ,Teachers ‘ room, Computer lab and Store room. The Ground floor having 11 Classrooms and first floor wiyh 6 classrooms with the dimensions specified by CBSE has been completed.

Play Ground

Vast area of the School ground provides enough space for Athletics and games including Football court and basketball court in the foresight.

This co educational institution is affiliated Central Board of Secondary Education ,New Delhi with affiliation No. 931033.and follows Curriculum (Syllabus) and evaluation strictly as per the guidelines of CBSE.

Transport Facilities

Hired Vans have been arranged to take students to and from the School. Trips are conducted with utmost care , security and responsibility.

Admission

Admission is open to Boys and Girls of the following age limit. LKG above4 Years, UKG above 5 years, Class I above 5 years completed as on June 1 of the academic year. Parent Teacher Association

A strong and active Parent Teacher is functioning in the School, An Executive Committee of the PTA is constituted giving due representation to all localities of the Village and interests. .Parents take active part in the meeting of the Association and give valuable suggestion for the smooth and efficient functioning of the School.

Physical and Cultural Activities

Our trained teachers guide the pupils in all physical , Intellectual , moral ,Curricular ,co Curricular and extra -curricular activities. Pupils are sent to participate in other school competitions which are being conducted by Voluntary organizations. Seminars Symposiums, Quizzes, Debates etc are conducted regularly as part of curricular activities. Pupils of all classes are trained to perform Mass Drill also under Physical and Health Education

II Instructional Process

Medium of instruction is English for all subjects. The languages Malayalam and Hindi are also taught as Second and third languages. The Management wants every pupil to acquire proficiency in speaking ,reading and writing in English. Visiting Teachers from England and Germany handle spoken English classes.

Computerised School Library

Library is the backbone of all the Institutions. The School Library has an open access with Computer access and Issue system keeping in view the convenience of the studentandStaff.Class Library is also set up to the full advantage othe students.

  • All the members of the staff and students are members of the School Library.
  • Students should Maintain Strict silence in the Library and Reading room.
  • No student shall keep a book more than seven days.
  • If a book is not returned before its due date affine of Rs1/-per day will be levied from the students.
  • Before leaving the Library each member shall return all books, periodicals taken by him/her for reference without any damage.
  • Members are not allowed to sub-lend books taken by them.
  • Members shall replace books lost or damaged or pay a price to be fixed by the Principal.
  • All members of teaching and non teaching staff should return books borrowed from Library before closing of every year.
  • Reference books should not be taken out of the Library.

Teaching Faculty

The School has a team of efficient, experienced and highly qualified teaching staff . Trained Pre-Primary teachers and those trained in Montissory method are handling Nursary classes. Visiting Teachers from other countries come and stay in the Convent every year to give guidance and practical experience to pupils in speaking English fluently. Correction of written works evaluation of projects and Assignments are regularly undertaken by the Teachers. Low achieving students are given special individual attention.

I. Evaluation of Scholastic Areas

Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation .in Scholastic and Co-Scholastic areas to provide a Holistic profile of learners in three terms for Primary ,two terms for Upper Primary and Secondary Classes introduced by the Central Board of Secondary Education is strictly followed in the school from classes I to X. Evaluation of Scholastic areas are done with three term Tests from Class I to V and four Formative Assessments and two Summative Assessments from Classes VI to X. Formative Assessment is a tool used by the teacher to continuously monitor Students’ progress and better performances. It includes Paper Pencil tests (Monthly/Unit tests) ,Oral tests Visual tests ,Quizzes, Conversations, Interviews, Projects.,Practical and Assignments .Summative Assessment is the terminal Scholastic performance at the end of each term.
